Fish market
The fish market in Dar es Salaam is the focal point of commercial inshore fishing in Tanzania. Several years ago thanks to the help of the Japanese Government were built the structures. There are five large open-air buildings, one is the kitchen where the food is prepared to feed the workers in the market, one where the fish is willing to sell, a building in which the fish is cleaned and a place where there is the fish auction for sellers , and another building where the fish is cooked to be saled in the street or in other smaller markets.

Il mercato del pesce a Dar es Salaam è il punto focale della pesca costiera commerciale in Tanzania. Diversi anni fa, grazie agli aiuti del governo giapponese, furono costruite le strutture. Si tratta di cinque grandi edifici a cielo aperto, uno è la cucina dove viene preparato il cibo per nutrire i lavoratori nel mercato, uno dove il pesce è disposto per la vendita, un edificio in cui il pesce viene pulito, quello dove vi è l'asta dei pesci per venditori ambulanti, e un altro edificio dove il pesce viene cotto per la vendita su strada o in altri mercati minori.
